Happy Spring, Richton Park!
As the seasons change, grey skies return to blue, plants and flowers begin to bloom, the air gets warmer and the days grow longer. We are excited to be able to enjoy the outdoors again, and connecting with beloved neighbors.
I encourage you to dive into the pages of this edition of VIEWS, and recognize the incredible impact our citizens and staff have on the community. This issue is brimming with insightful content and articles that not only highlight the groundbreaking work of the Village, but our dedicated and talented residents as well.
In keeping with our commitment to innovation, progress, and a better quality of life for Richton Park, we continue to bring new development, park improvements, businesses, and quality programming - all while we clean up shop, implementing new beautification initiatives to the Village.
Kicking off National Volunteer Month, I am encouraged by the care, enthusiasm, and commitment shown by our community members who are eager to give back and make change where we live. There are countless opportunities to get involved!
Soon we will be gearing up for Richton Park’s Centennial next year, in June 2026, eagerly anticipating the festivities of a 100- year celebration. Please stay tuned and mark your calendars for our upcoming events and cultural celebrations that bind us together as one vibrant, diverse, and strong community. This is just the beginning.
