This year, the Richton Park Human Relations Commission invites you to the 2nd Annual Family Fun & Wellness Day, a celebration of wellness, connection, and community in honor of World Mental Health Day.
Our theme, “Activate,” encourages families and community members to take action in every area of health: Mental, Physical, Nutritional, Community, and Sustainable Wellness. Together, we will explore these five pillars of wellness through short talks, interactive activities, and resources from local vendors.
Burnout, busy schedules, and constant distractions can drain our energy. But just as we must recharge to keep moving forward, our community thrives when each of us prioritizes rest, renewal, and engagement. Mental health is not separate from overall health—it is at the heart of it. And when we care for ourselves, we empower our families, strengthen our neighborhoods, and build a healthier community.
This event is designed to be interactive, engaging, and family-friendly, with opportunities to learn, move, connect, and win fun raffle prizes while discovering local resources. Because healed people heal families—and healed families heal communities.
