The Finance Department under the leadership of the Finance Director and Assistant Finance Director, continues to look for opportunities to increase revenue without negatively impacting residents along with executing a higher level of capital improvement projects. Other notable accomplishments are:
- Reduced the Village of Richton Park’s audit findings from 13 to zero.
- Reducing operating cost through process improvements and bulk purchasing.
- Improving efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting.
- Successfully managed a budget of approximately $40m for several years, demonstrating fiscal responsibility
- Implemented the Transparency Portal that shares financial data and key information to keep the residents informed and engaged. The portal can be accessed through the Village’s website at Richtonpark.org.
