President's Message | Fall 2023

This being our “Summer of Music,” it has been our pleasure to bring you our Juneteenth Celebration, Stepping Under the Stars, Resident Appreciation Day, National Night Out, “Lost in Music” House (Music) Fest, and Your Party Fall Fest. All of these events had record numbers in attendance, and we are ecstatic to be able to host the kind of programming that the community values and comes out for.

I certainly hope the season has been good to you all. It has been a busy few months, as we have seen new businesses such as Midwest Express Clinic, Tropical Smoothie Café, and Epic Wings, all open their doors to customers. This is just the beginning. New and different things are on the horizon here in Richton Park and we couldn’t be more proud. All the work we feverishly do, whether it’s updating what we currently have, or presenting new, innovative ideas and projects, is for the benefit of you, the Village, and the community. We strive to provide a roadmap to unique, but quality       development that will allow us to expand the awareness of Richton Park, and all that we have to offer, to new levels.

With that, we are counting on you for your engagement, participation, and feedback. One of our most significant initiatives is planning for our “Town Center,” and addressing that we want that total area to reflect the progressiveness and character of Richton Park. In aggressively finding that balance of what works for OUR community, we want to know what YOU and your family want to see here in Richton Park. With your input, we can plan and find opportunities for new housing, mixed-use development, green spaces, event spaces, amenities, etc. From your perspective, what do we need? Let us know! Email any suggestions to our consultants at

Along with the Board and Staff, my primary mission is to create an environment where we all can thrive happily together. Richton Park is a community that full of spirit and promise. And WE promise to continue to serve you with all that we are. You may even look up, and see the Chicago Bears making this their new home, who knows!

Have a great Fall! I hope we all take an opportunity this season to be courteous, lend a helping hand, and be thankful for all we have, and will achieve, because that is what makes Richton Park so special.
