[ARCHIVED] President's Message | Winter 2025

RICK REINBOLD sq 2

Happy New Year, Richton Park!

2024 was illustrious with both accomplishments and challenges. Reflecting helps us acknowledge our experiences, recognize the lessons learned, and prepare for the future as we focus on the year ahead.

I am excited about the opportunities ahead. Together, we will continue to build on our successes, invest in our infrastructure and welcome new restaurants, commercial business and mixed-use developments that make Richton Park an even more vibrant destination. The new year promises progress, innovation and cleaning shop, and we’re ready for it all.

The community has proved to be one that is thrilled in all Richton Park has to offer, as we continue to have record numbers of attendance at all of our premier events. The Holiday Tree Lighting event was definitely the best I’ve ever witnessed. Our Parks & Recreation staff pulled out all the stops with not just the exclusive Holiday Marketplace, but the iceless skating rink, and the new Holiday Trolley-train circling alongside. This year’s events will continue to amaze you. We’ve only just begun.

Heading into 2025, we want to focus on evolving to new heights, improving lives, and continuing to accomplish the very goals that we set upon. Our work is never done – it’s an ongoing, measurable push to make Richton Park the very best possible. The Village is blessed with strong resources, dedicated staff, and an engaged citizen-base. We have countless successes for our town, and I look forward to sharing our improvement, development, and excitement on these ambitious endeavors moving ahead. I challenge you to get involved with your Village. The connections you make will be pleasantly memorable and satisfying.

Staff is dedicated to keeping residents and the community safe, comfortable, and informed - about Village events, programs, alerts, and even potential impacts throughout Richton Park. Please make sure you, your friends, and family are subscribed to us on social media, and signed up to get email and text alerts directly to your phone. Stay connected.

Along with the Board of Trustees, Administrative staff and all employees of the Village, serving and seeing you through any and everything is what we are devoted to. Let’s make 2025 our best year yet!
